The Silver Lining

As of late, I have not been in the best of moods. You can tell by my tweets:

And, this morning:

They say hindsight is always 20/20. And looking back on this week with 20/20 “vision,” I can say that I was pretty much “blind” to my faults for the majority of the week.

I’ve let my bad attitude seep into corners of my life that don’t deserve to be affected by my fickle emotions.

Last Sunday, I tweeted this:

I’m going to garner energy and use it for good. That is my mantra for the next season of my life.

I can’t control what life throws at me. I can control how I react to what life throws at me. And the way I have been reacting so far has only been doing a disservice to me; and a few people in my life as well.

I’m sorry.

And, lest I forget,

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33

Peace and Love,
