I just watched President Obama give an eloquent speech about the death of the terrorist and murderer, Osama Bin Laden.

I wanted to post the video of the President’s speech, but there is no high-quality version of it online yet (that I have found). If you haven’t seen the speech yet, WATCH IT as soon as it is available.

There are 8346289765 thoughts running through my head right now. So…I don’t know what to say. I’m speechless, really.

I liked President Bush’s statement, posted on facebook:

“Earlier this evening, President Obama called to inform me that American forces killed Osama bin Laden, the leader of the al Qaeda network that attacked America on September 11, 2001.  I congratulated him and the men and women of our military and intelligence communities who devoted their lives to this mission.  They have our everlasting gratitude.  This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001.  The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message:  No matter how long it takes, justice will be done.”

This is what my friend, Clint, posted on Facebook:

Seriously… I don’t know how I feel about the cheering crowds… It seems like something tacky they would do when they kill one of us… Pour a beer. Toast to the lives lost, on 9/11 and in Afghanistan/ Iraq… But cheering mobs… We’re better than that

I pray that God is serving justice to Osama Bin Laden.

More thoughts to come.
