Ann: Someday Globetrotter ;-)

Hello, lovelies!

First of all, the most important thing about today is that it’s my mom’s birthday! My mom is an amazing, caring, kind person. I feel so fortunate to be her daughter. I know that sounds all gushy, but…it’s true! Happy birthday, mom! 🙂

I’ll probably write a more detailed post about my mom’s birthday later.

I’m a fan of a page called Jesus Daily on Facebook. It posts uplifting verses and pictures. I found today’s picture and verse particularly inspiring, and wanted to share it with y’all:

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” -JESUS in John 15:13. Thank you Lord!

Tomorrow is Easter, and I’ve been trying to contemplate the resurrection story recently. To meditate on its meaning and significance.

The picture is of the Cristo Redentor (Christ the Redeemer) statue that overlooks Rio de Janero, Brazil. I’m going to go there one day and see it for myself!

…Also, if you’re my Facebook friend, you may have noticed this status that I posted the other day:

That’s right; I’m trying to get “serious” about learning Czech. I very, very badly want to go to the Czech Republic one day, especially Prague. As soon as I get a chance to, I’m going to take advantage of it.

I recently found out, through Facebook, that I still have family members in the Czech Republic!

Here is a pic of an Inn owned by some of my distant relatives in Trojanovice, part of the Moravian Region of the Czech Republic:

I love learning languages. I’m about to finish year one of elementary Italian, and I adore it. I am interested in pursuing a minor in Italian (if I could fit it in with the rest of my degree plan…).

I would seriously consider becoming an Italian language teacher.

Or, if I become good enough, a Czech language teacher.

Já nevím!…Non lo so! So many possibilities.

Brazil…Czech Republic…Italy. Watch out world, here I come 🙂

Peace and Love,

Do you know any foreign languages? Have you been to any foreign countries? Or, do you have grand plans like me? 😉
